Thistle Holiday Home Parks in Scotland
PICK A ‘THISTLE’ FOR YOUR HOLIDAY IN SCOTLAND
TOP-QUALITY SELF-CATERING IN HOLIDAY HOME PARKS
Scotland is a small country, but the scenery, visitor attractions and activities which are on offer mean that there is plenty to see and do – and Scotland’s compactness means that you don’t need to spend your holiday touring from one overnight stopover to the next every day. With a Thistle Holiday Home you can opt for the comfort and flexibility of a self-catering, centred holiday – and still have a great choice of where to go and what to see nearby.

On holiday, where you come home to each night is important and Scotland’s seventy-seven Thistle Holiday Home Parks, with their top-quality static caravans, provide self-catering which is spacious, comfortable and welcoming. These holiday homes have been awarded their Thistle statues by VisitScotland Quality Advisors and are on caravan parks which are four or five stars, thus guaranteeing a high quality of facilities and services.

Your Holiday Home
Thistle holiday homes are beautifully decorated and have a spacious lounge, a well-quipped kitchen with a dining area, two or three bedrooms, shower and toilet. None are more than six years old and all have mains water, electricity and drainage, as well as being double-glazed and fully heated. Bed linen is provided and alongside your caravan is space for a car. Plenty of space for you to relax.

The Parks
The caravan parks are well landscaped and laid out, usually with special areas for children to play in (so ideal for family holidays) and with each caravan well away from its neighbour. Some parks are small and secluded (great for a quiet holiday) whilst others are much bigger, with a shop, restaurant and bar, plus perhaps leisure facilities such as a games room and a swimming pool. Some parks provide entertainment for children and for adults and many offer short breaks of three nights or more. All the parks are open from March to November and some for even longer. Some are close to sandy beaches or within easy reach of walking and cycle routes or just a short stroll from the village pub.

You can choose from seventy-seven parks situated throughout Scotland, from the farmlands of Dumfries and Galloway in the South West, across to the Borders and north through Stirling, Perthshire, Fife and Angus, up to the North East, across to the west coast and in the Highlands and the Outer Hebrides.
