A very comfortable B&B 5 minutes walk from the train station.
It is run by a Japanese lady and they have a wonderful Scots/Japanese Breakfast!

Bijou gothic castle with a touch of 50s glamour. All rooms either have a view of the city skyline or of the lavender-scented garden to the rear, and Frette Egyptian cotton bed linen with duck down duvets. Scented candles at turn-down, and even the drapes can be controlled from a bedside panel. Extra large bathrooms with heated floors.

The hostel is environmentally friendly with not only solar and wind power, but also dry toilets and bat friendly paint! A walker and wildlife enthusiast’s paradise, there are a hundred species of birds in the area and other visitors include otters, pine martens, roe deer and red squirrels. Please note that bed linen is not provided, and visitors are asked to bring their own sleeping bag.
